The fourth Alconbury Christmas Run by the Alconbury Runners group is taking place on Tue 19 Dec at 6.30pm. The route takes in most of the roads throughout Alconbury and Alconbury Weston. The route goes up most streets and the lead runners then loop back to rejoin the group - trying to keep everyone together. The whole route is about 9km (5.6 miles) but slower runners will complete much less distance due to the faster runners looping back. Runners should ideally be dressed in a Christmas themed outfit or running gear and headlights/ chestlights/ battery operated Christmas lights are encouraged. At the end of the run there will be food and refreshments. Mulled wine, hot lemon tea, hot savouries and warm mince pies and of course Stollen! Afterwards some runners will go to The Manor for a drink and some for food.
